Sajid happy to say 'Heyy Babyy give way to Marigold'
Comedian-turned-director Sajid Khan has no objection in postponing the release of his directorial debut Heyy Babyy to August so that his good friend Salman Khan's new release Marigold gets a clear passage.
"Salman and I are very good friends since childhood. So I don't mind the change in dates of my film if it helps Salman's. I would be the first person to appreciate him if his movie does well," says Sajid.
He also adds, "It's the producer's (Sajid Nadiadwala) wish when the film should be released but they had informed me of the change. So there are no issues at all."
Both Marigold and Heyy Babyy were scheduled to release on July 27. But according to our sources, when Nadiadwala got to know that Salman's maiden international venture would be hitting the marquee on July 27 and even his other film Partner around July 20, he decided to shift his film's release to August 24.
Heyy Babyy stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Vidya Balan. Nadiadwala's banner had earlier delivered hits with comedies like Judwaa, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
The producer will now hope that his film does not clash with any big releases so that his movie can draw the complete attention of audiences.
