Pyare Mohan Director: Indra Kumar
Cast: Fardeen Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Esha Deol, Amrita Rao

Pyare Mohan is all about feeling the fun. After making the laugh riot Masti two years back, director Indra Kumar returns with another rollicking comedy Pyare Mohan. The premise of Pyare Mohan is pretty uncomplicated.

The movie depicts the story of two friends Pyare and Mohan. Pyare is blind and Mohan is deaf. But when they are together their disabilities are no longer their weaknesses. Pyare becomes Mohan's ears and Mohan becomes Pyare's eyes. Interesting concept and innovative thinking by the director make the film a treat to watch.

Coming to the story of the film, Fardeen Khan plays the blind Pyare for whom day or night, light or darkness makes no difference… He is blind as a bat. But Pyare is not dogged by his disability - He is a man of his own will. He reads the newspaper upside down, he bumps into trees, walks into people and falls a thousand times only to get up again to face the world and live life his own way.

On the other hand, Vivek Oberoi plays the deaf Mohan. Silence or noise, shrieks or sighs make no difference to Mohan. Mohan too is a man of his own unique style, he may not hear a thing, but he likes to dance to music. He often causes traffic jams because he can't hear the cars honking. He stays blissfully oblivious to the noisy confusion around him and when someone shrieks for help, Mohan merely gives a pleasant smile and walks on.

How this duo takes on the world and proves that to love and to be loved you don't need eyes and ears but a heart of gold, is what Pyare Mohan is all about.

The chemistry between Fardeen Khan and Vivek Oberoi is cute and endearing. They both seem comfortable in each other's presence, which makes the concept of Pyare Mohan rather believable.

Coming to the leading ladies, Esha Deol plays the role of Preeti who though believes that love is blind, would not imagine herself falling for a blind man. She is a girl of lofty dreams. She wants fame, fortune and wants her name and pictures on every billboard that her boyfriend could see and marvel. But what if her boyfriend turns out blind?

Amrita Rao plays the role of Priya. Like Preeti, Priya too has big dreams. She wants to be a singer. Her songs are rich in emotions and she dreams of a boyfriend who can hear her songs and marvel at her artistic creations. But what if her boyfriend turns out to be deaf?

The film takes a U-turn when these two beautiful girls, enter the lives of Pyare Mohan. But will they be able to win their hearts?

What starts, as a love quest for Pyare and Mohan becomes a life or death gamble for them? Preeti and Priya are on the hit list of a gangster. Now the million-dollar question is - Can the blind Pyare and the deaf Mohan save their lady-loves from the baddies?

Unlike Indra Kumar's Masti , 'Pyare Mohan' doesn't rely on double entendres that can put off the family audience. It is a wholesome entertainer with superb acting by the cast and most importantly something new has been tried and tested in Bollywood.

On the whole, Fardeen Khan as the blind -Pyare and Vivek Oberoi as the deaf -Mohan will leave you spellbound.
