I See You Produced by: Arjun Rampal
Directed by: Vivek Agrawal
Cast: Arjun Rampal, Vipasha and Chunky Pandey
Music: Vishal - Shekhar
Rating: Average

Synopsis: A TV show host and an incorrigible flirt Raj (Arjun Rampal) encounters a spirit, Shivani (Vipasha) at his apartment. She tells him that she was a doctor and is currently lying in a coma in a hospital room. He disbelieves her initially calling it a Bakra played on him by best pal cum colleague Akshay (Chunky). But, gradually realises that she is speaking the truth. She tells him she was witness to a kidney chori scam which led her to the present state. Now fearing that she'd be killed by the chief conspirator behind it, Shivani needs Raj's help. Raj helps and ends up falling in love with a spirit.

Acting: Looking cool throughout, Rampal is good. Also shows a good comic timing. Newcomer Vipasha looks anorexic but acts decently, considering it's her debut film. Chunky Pandey brings you the laughs. Boman Irani in a special appearance as a shrink displays his hamming skills and irritates. Sonali Kulkarni as the husband beater wife of Chunky is shown throwing more things at her hubby than dialogues onscreen, very annoying. Michael Maloney, the angrez playing a London cop, entertains with his Hindi dialogue delivery. Sophie Chaudhary in a role smaller than her short skirts does what she has been doing in all her films till date, bends to show a little cleavage, pouts till it hurts and speak her dialogues seductively.

Direction: Debutante Vivek Agrawal is technically competent but shows zero narrative skills. His choice of subject is wrong and his execution of the weak storyline frustrates you further. Lifting a foreign film is not a crime in Bollywood but making it more unbearable than the original is. Vivek does exactly that.

Script: One wonders why the makers needed to lift a Hollywood flop, the Reese Witherspoon starrer, Just Like Heaven (2005). Since the original source is dabba, Suresh Nair's script which is a replica of it, is simply fully-faaltu. Nair wastes lots of opportunities to make it a more dhamaal film by adding unbelievably weird situations. Dialogues by Niranjan Iyengar entertain in bits.

Music: Vishal - Shekhar give some breezy tunes but none are the kind that you may recollect after you come out of the cinema hall. Subah - Subah by Ya Ali fame Zubin is the best pick of the lot and its picturisation is fundoo. You see Shah Rukh Khan playing the guitar and Hrithik Roshan dancing to its tune on London streets for a few seconds. Halo, a club dance number choreographed by Shiamak Davar is more fun to watch than hear.
