Couple No. 1: Oscar Fernandes (Boman Irani) and Nahid (Shabana Azmi) –
They call themselves Mr. and Mrs. 55. The oldest amongst the lot are
on their honeymoon leaving behind a tragic past. Oscar tries to
impress his Muslim wife with Urdu poetry and she corrects him every
time.
Couple No. 2: Partho Sen (Kay Kay Menon) and Milly Sen (Raima Sen) -
Both are college mates who fall in love and end up in marriage. An
orthodox Partho always stops his fun loving wife from letting her hair
down. Once by mistake when he gets his drink mixed he lets loose all
his inhibitions and turns into a fun loving person like his wife.

Couple No. 3: Pinky (Amisha Patel) and Vicky (Karan Khanna) - A
talkative wife and silent hubby, a perfect case of opposites attract
from all angles. But since the day Vicky got into the bus he is
restless. He is unwilling to share his 'tension' with Pinky and ends
up arguing with her constantly. He has discovered a new side to
himself after bumping into a fellow passenger but is confused.
Couple No. 4: Madhu (Sandhya Mridul) and Bunty (Vikram Chatwal) – He
is a NRI from Los Angeles who has got married to her after meeting her
online. He avoids intimacy and her. She has had a sad past so avoids
being suspicious. But when he reveals the truth she is heartbroken.
Couple No. 5: Aspi (Abhay Deol) and Zara (Minissha Lamba) – The cutest
couple amongst the lot. Both childhood friends turned soul mates. All
the other couples envy them for being so picture perfect. But both of
them are hiding a unique secret from each other.
Couple No. 6: Hitesh (Ranvir Shorey) and Shilpa (Dia Mirza) – A
typical Gujju couple. Since the time Shilpa has started her honeymoon
trip she is sobbing non-stop. Hitesh is baffled. On the first day of
their sight seeing a mystery man follows them on his bike and whisks
her away. It is Jignesh (Rampal) Shilpa's love before marriage. She
willingly joins him leaving a frustrated Hitesh behind.

Acting: Kay Kay Menon popular for his intense image is fun to watch in
a lighter role. His carefree dancing in the Sajnaji song will multiply
his fan following. Playing his wife Raima is the surprise packet and
her light banter in Bangla with Kay Kay is very funny. Boman provides
a well balanced mix of humour and sensitivity. Shabana is graceful.
Abhay Deol impresses more with his Tango dancing skills. Minissha
Lamba looks hot. Amisha shows good comic timing. Sandhya Mridul is
nice. Dia Mirza hardly has any role. Ranvir Shorey is sorely missed in
the second half. Arjun Rampal looks lost. Vikram Chatwal looks the
part but is expressionless. Karan Khanna bores. Chandan Bisht as the
bus cleaner is cute. Watch him smooch a German tourist, hilarious.

Direction: Debutante director Reema Kagti manages what Nikhil Advani
could not in his six-couples romantic film, Salaam-E-Ishq, and that's
providing entertainment in precise time. In a compact 2 hour running
time, Reema successfully introduces us to each of the romantic couples
and makes sure the audience interest stays with each of them till the
very last frame of the film.

Script: Reema's script is funky but aims only at the multiplex going
audience. The narrative humorously unfolds seven different stories
that explore the nature of love and human relationships. The idea of a
radio jockey playing the role of an omniscient narrator and revealing
secrets about them and their past is innovative. A little mix of
fantasy with super hero - super heroine jodi brings the laughs but
looks a little out of place within the narrative. Humorous moments
coming out of the couples characteristics are plenty. The blending of
emotions with humour is perfect without giving scope to melodrama. The
gay love story angle is well written but the Arjun - Dia love story
looks total filmy.

Music: Vishal – Shekhar's music is a good mix of funky and soft
romantic numbers. The most popular track of the film, Sajnaji Vari
Vari sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Shekhar that comes towards the climax
is made entertaining to watch by Kay Kay introducing his own brand of
dancing style. The Tango number Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani number by Sunidhi
and Gayatri Iyer is eye pleasing with a superb rendition of the dance
form by Abhay and Minissha. The romantic song Halke Halke by Neeraj
Sridhar is picturised on the love couples during their Goa darshan is
good. Amisha's dream song Jaane Hai Woh Kaha, is a pleasant song but
looks unwanted in the film.
