Ranbir Kapoor Ranbir Kapoor is not doing my film: Siddharth Anand

Siddharth Anand has quashed rumours of Ranbir Kapoor doing his next after Ta Ra Rum Pum. He has denied even meeting Ranbir even in person leave alone signing him for his film to be produced by Yash Raj Films.

The Ta Ra Rum Pum maker says, "This is a baseless rumor. My second film, the Saif - Rani starrer Ta Ra Rum Pum is about to release this Friday. I haven't even planned anything about what I am going to do next. I wonder how these false stories are generated that I doing a remake of Hollywood film, The Bachelors and Ranbir's acting in it opposite five new girls. Few months back they were saying I am making Dhoom 3 with Shah Rukh Khan and now this. Sorry guys I am not making any such film."

We contacted Yash Raj Productions and an official who did not wish to be named also denied any such film about to be made and the Kapoor scion acting in it. He refused to comment on the three film deal that Ranbir had apparently signed with the prestigious banner. Ranbir Kapoor meanwhile is busy completing his debut film, Saawariya directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali co-starring Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam. The movie is scheduled for a Diwali release.

Today almost the entire media was carrying reports about Ranbir having signed Siddharth Anand's next, a remake of a Hollywood film, The Bachelor with five girls starring opposite the star son.

Ranbir however, is apparently going to star in a movie which marks the comeback of his legendary banner RK Films. Our source tells us, "Dad Rishi Kapoor is about to start a movie to be directed by him starring his son in the lead opposite a new find. The movie was first offered to Munna Bhai series maker Rajkumar Hirani but he had declined the offer citing his involvement with the next Munna Bhai film. Following which, Rishi Kapoor had decided to direct his son himself. The scripting is currently on and after it's completed, the hunt for a suitable new heroine opposite Ranbir will begin."
