Mallika Sherawat to do a film for free
Mallika Sherawat is in the news once again. And this time it's not for an eye-catching outfit or a controversial statement, but for the fact the actress has agreed to do a film for free for the producer of Khosla ka Ghosla - Ronnie Screwala.
Mallika has recently finished shooting her ten minute role for Himesh Reshammiya's Aap Ka Saroor for which she charged 1.5 crores. Parull Gosain, Mallika's spoke person confirmed this amount, "Mallika is not in town for one month but yes she did get paid rupees 1.5 crores for Aap ka Suroor, which is quite huge amount comparing other stars."
So if Mallika can charge huge amounts for small roles in films like Mani Ratnam's Guru and Himesh Reshammiya's Aap Ka Saroor why is she now ready to do a film for free for Ronnie?
"She is sitting for script but she hasn't finalised anything. But yes if she does like the script and role then she is ready to do it for free as she has said. However, nothing is yet final all at the stage of discussion.," agrees Parull. If Mallika agrees to this film then she will be seen in a completely non glamorous role.
Mallika will soon be seen in upcoming films like Dasavathram, Fauj Main Mauj and Welcome as well as her second Hollywood venture called Unveiled.
