Emraan Hashmi, Esha Deol to do a film together!
Snog king Emraan Hashmi will be seen in a film with Esha Deol soon. The film, which belongs to the Bhatt camp, will be directed by debutant director Kunal Deshmukh. Although no announcement has been made yet, sources tell us that the deal is close to being completed.
Till date Bhatt's lucky mascot, Emraan, has been seen in films with newcomers or debutants like Mallika Sherawat in Murder, Kangana Ranaut in Gangster or his latest film The Train with Geeta Basra and debutant Sayali Bhagat. And so if all goes well, this movie could be a first for Emraan with an A-list actress like Esha.
"This is a very big thing as far as Emraan is concerned. We have seen him with small time b or c list stars but now he will be seen with an actress who is big. She's acted with some of the biggest stars of the industry including Abhishek Bachchan, Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan... No one is talking about it yet as things need to be officially signed but it's almost a completed deal," says a source close to the film.
There's no taking away from the fact that Hashmi does draw in the crowds and his movies can be termed as hits but the actor is still not considered A-list. And so one can't help but wonder... would you look at this film as a step up for Hashmi or a step down for Deol?
