Amar Amar Upadhyay to produce films with his wife

Amar Upadhyay is coming up with his own production house which will be handled by his wife Hetal. Hetal's first film as a producer will be in 'Bhojpuri' and the movie will be in partnership with Udit Narayan's wife.

The decision to start a production has finally materialized from just being a long term topic of discussion with the couple.

Hetal says, "When I told Amar that I wanted to start a production house I also told him that we have a good relationship with Udit Narayan. So Udit's wife, Deepa, became a partner for our first film which I am handling. The movie is in Bhojpuri and it is called 'Babua Hamar'."

Talking about his wife's decision, Amar says, "I'm so happy that she has decided to become a producer. The story of the film has been selected by Hetal as well."

The couple also has big plans for television. Amar says, "We have plans to produce three TV shows from which two are ready. We are looking at channels to air them. For the third one, work is still going on. Raju Joshi, who scripts for Kyunki, is writing for us."

Amar will not work on the television projects because it's too time consuming. Right now he is more focused of his upcoming films and production house.

Amar is presently doing the serial Virrasat. He is also coming up with two more films in Hindi. One is with Udit Narayan and another is with Sangeet Sivan.

Amar's wife, Hetal, is an engineer by profession but after marriage she has chosen to be a housewife.
